So here we are.

You'd probably like to know a bit about Dan before you talk to him... Dan is a Baltimore-based photographer and all-around super guy. Seriously. Ask anybody. They'll tell you.

Dan Stack is a professional photographer specializing in Music and Theater Photography, though he has been known to shoot anything else at the drop of a hat. Take a look at the "music" section. You'll like it. Based in the Baltimore/D.C. area, Dan comes from a family background steeped in the film industry: his family runs Serious Grip and Electric, a major supplier to filmmakers in the Baltimore, Virginia, DC area. Dan has worked as a grip, electrician, and gaffer on hundreds of local and national commercials and TV shows. While in college, Dan began working as a photographer and digital tech. He has a knack for quickly understanding the strengths and weakness of digital workflow software and procedures and is currently the principal researcher on ASMP and the Library of Congress' Preserving Digital Images project (www.asmp.org/pdi).
